At It’s a Bug’s Life: Child and Family Therapy Services, LLC, I offer play therapy for preschoolers, kindergarteners, and elementary-aged children. Using the natural language of play, I help children explore their feelings, understand their emotions, and learn healthy ways to cope—whether they are facing everyday challenges or bigger life changes. My goal is to support each child in growing emotional awareness and confidence in a gentle, nurturing space.
At It’s a Bug’s Life: Child and Family Therapy Services, LLC, I use CBT, ACT, and MI to support preteens and adolescents as they navigate critical developmental challenges like puberty, peer relationships, and academic pressure. Together, we work on identifying and reshaping unhelpful thought patterns, recognizing what is within their control, learning to accept what is not, and setting meaningful, achievable goals that foster confidence, growth, and positive well-being.
At It’s a Bug’s Life: Child and Family Therapy Services, LLC, I use a blend of CBT, ACT, PCIT, MI, Structural Family Therapy, and Systemic Family Therapy to help families work through challenges within their relationships. Whether addressing communication difficulties, boundary-setting, or family role dynamics, I support families in understanding their patterns and building healthier and more positive relationships.
At It’s a Bug’s Life: Child and Family Therapy Services, LLC, I offer monthly virtual parent workshops via Zoom aimed at supporting and empowering caregivers. These workshops focus on practical strategies for communicating with children in ways that reinforce positive behaviors and effectively address areas of concern. Parents learn how to respond to their children with clarity, consistency, and compassion, building stronger connections and promoting healthy emotional and behavioral development.
