Learn ways to grow, adapt, and transform
It's a Bug's Life: Child and Family Therapy Services is a private practice that strives to help children ranging from ages 4 to 17 and families grow, adapt, and transform in response to difficult life situations currently impacting their mental, emotional, and physical beings and how they socially connect with each other and others. My mission is to provide compassionate, nurturing, and strengths-based therapy for children and families. I believe in fostering a safe environment where everyone can thrive and grow together.
I earned my master’s degree in Counseling and Clinical Psychology from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) in 2022 and completed my doctorate in Clinical Health Psychology at PCOM in 2027. I have specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and I incorporate principles from Structural Family Therapy, Systemic Family Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Play Therapy in my work.
I created It’s a Bug’s Life: Child and Family Therapy Services, LLC based on my lifelong nickname, “Bug,” and my belief that understanding and addressing systemic influences on children and families is essential for meaningful growth. I am passionate about using evidence-based approaches to help children, teens, and families build emotional resilience, strengthen communication, and thrive together.
